First I have to admit that I absolutely love Asia! The people, the amazing landscapes and the food... it's a magical experience. For photographers, like you and me, it's a dream come true.
In Asia you have something of anything - no matter if you are shooting wildlife, landscape or everyday life.
By the way, have you seen the landscapes of Thailand, Laos or Vietnam? It seems that those countries really have it all. From massive mountain ranges to heart stoppingly beautiful beaches.

A very positive side effect of Asia is that it's usually very cheap! The most expensive thing likely is your flight ticket. Depending on your comfort zone you can rent beautiful wooden houses right next to the ocean for 10 Euros/Dollars or so. Of course, if you can afford it you will also find some exceptional and extravagant 5 or even 6-star hotels.

For me Asia has a very unique "charm". Whenever I step out of the airport in Bangkok, I feel like I am entering another world. The Asian countries are growing so quickly - there's always something new to discover.
The people are very friendly and in my experience you won't have a problem to ask someone to take a picture of them.
I don't know if you are aware of "street photography". Basically you take your camera, go out and shoot the daily life that happens on the street all over the world. The results are most of the time a set of great photographs which are very authentic!
Additionally, sightseeing spots are generally a great place to photograph.
For example, I am a huge fan of the beautiful Buddha Statues. It's a magical feeling if you look at these wonderful statues through the viewfinder of your camera.
Here you can see me in front of the 5.5 tonnes golden Buddha...

The results? You will end up with a variety of different motives.
