The Showcase School of Photography

Located deep in the heart of Atlanta, the Showcase School of Photography has given many students the competitive edge they need to succeed in the photography industry. The school doesn't give actual letter grades; it is more concerned about giving students the experience they need to take pictures!

Individuals looking to learn just a little bit about photography attend the school to get basic knowledge, and more serious students can learn as well. The nice thing about this school is that you don't have to worry about keeping your grades up and learn at the same time.

You can simply focus on course material and take your time with assignments. The school doesn't offer degrees. Since its inception in 1996, the Showcase School of Photography was designed for amateurs, as the school started with just a few students.

At the time, the Showcase School of Photography offered about five classes, all of which were made up of lovers of photography. Since then, classes have evolved significantly. You can now take anywhere from one-day to six-week classes in a wide variety of areas.

Basic courses have given way to more advanced subjects, such as Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

Of course, you don't have to be tied down to ongoing courses. One-day courses are just as available. Many one-day courses feature guest speakers on Flash and other photo software packages.
